Serial Flash Buffer

Serial Flash Buffer connection scheme

In the modules of information accumulation, for example, tarrification systems of communication systems (PBX) it is not always possible or expediently to provide constantly connected computer for reception of slow data flows.
Applying of serial flash buffer with non-volatile memory allows to refuse using of the allocated and constantly connected computer. It allows to reduce the expenditures of the system of data acumulation and essentially boosts the realibility of the whole system.

Serial flash buffer accumulates data incoming from the source, while there is no request from receiving device. When there is the transfer request from receiving device, accumulated data flow to the receiver. Serial flash buffer provides simultaneous data receiving from the source and transferring to the receiver. It provides the preservation of data at supply disconnection.
Serial flash buffer can accumulate data for a long period, preventing losses at supply disconnection, surge voltages, computer or software problems. It also prevents overload of the telephone network traffic during the peak hours.

Designation: mono-directional device designed for receiving, accumulation and transfering on request of the data (transferred using channel RS-232).
Serial flash buffer allows to refuse using of allocated computer for receiving of slow, asynchronous flows of the data.
